This day, Friday 13th, is a promise.
A promise to you.
In fact it is is a pledge of allegiance to your soul.
This ancient celebration of the Goddess, a celebration of 13 moons is mystical, spiritual and powerful.
There are 13 moons in the year.
And for the bleeding cycle, 13 bleeds.
This connection is SO powerful, SO profound, and the cycles of womanhood are feared even now in our modern society.
Put aside the assumptions that this is a day of bad luck, its your day lady, and you can embrace it fully.
Moon time, both a time of reflection, menstruation and an acknowledgment of our connection with the cycles of the year, act now as ever as a measurement of time itself.
This deep connection with cycles is part of you. And part of your creation story.
Whether you bleed now or not, the cycles in your body and the cycles of the moon are related.
The 13 cycles of the lunar calendar take us through a variety of expressions which embody every aspect of the stages of womanhood and mood, all within a month, again and again.
And these months are not 12 calendar months, they are 12 cyclical months consisting of four weeks each.
Every four weeks you are renewed. Each week is a different part of your expression, it is immensely powerful and to be honoured.
So today, create the time to celebrate this relationship, rather like a birthday!
