About Angie “Midwife of the True Self”

When I was 18, I was invited to the warm power of a Native American sweat lodge ceremony, in the USA and I experienced a coming home to my connection to the land, my heart, soul and spirit. This defining moment was the start of my personal journey, I began to be aware of the great expanse that is life.

This was the start of a journey in life which led to a profound rebirthing later in Midlife, the seeds were sown in a place where I could find answers for myself. I know you will resonate with some of this, even if its not your experience, because in Midlife how often do we begin to take our power back and acknowledge all that we have lost, in order to surrender to the beauty we can create now?

I answered a calling in myself which began with that first sweat lodge, which I listened through honouring gifts and beauty and also through working with deep levels of complex trauma in my own life.

Not long after the sweat lodge, I met an Ecuadorian Shaman and also met a wonderful musician Emily Burridge, who at the time worked with Indigenous people in the Amazon, simultaneously acknowledging the calling of my journey of truth, looking deeper for the connection we have to the earth, soul and creation.

The Rites of Passage ceremonial healing work I do today - is the deepest work I have ever known. I have been really blessed to create powerful spaces conducive to healing and transformation, and gone to a profound place which is simple, pure and powerful, the essence of my shamanic work and bringing together ceremony and healing.

Now is the time to hold that sacred rage, the pain and longing of our hearts and the healing we deserve, so that we go through the threshold of becoming, in Midlife and Beyond.

I honour you and your journey as an Inclusive Feminist, a UK-Chilean Immigrant who fled a brutal dictatorship as a child, as a Woman who is dedicated to Decolonising wellness and our mindset around health, a Neurodiverse Woman, and as someone who knows that the Earth is deeply Sacred and our connection to it is about love of the earth and each other, transcending barriers and borders. For me, ceremony and health are one.

I love good coffee, drumming, chocolate, laughing, time with my two gorgeous boys, husband and close friends and community, embracing life on this planet, ritual, being barefoot, ceremony, my garden, the woods, and dancing to Gogol Bordello and Prince.

Its time to nurture self and soul, honour the divine and dark feminine and RISE, without the bullshit.

You Are The Medicine You Seek.

So much thanks to my teachers and coaches

I have been blessed to be taught and formally trained in Shamanic Homeopathy; shamanic healing, herbal medicine and homeopathic medicine training, by Dr Yubaj Sharma and Dr Myriam Shivadikar with Anthroposophical principles, at The School of Shamanic Homeopathy. My work as a Ceremonlialist was grounded by the teachings on Earth Based Ceremony from two wonderful teachers, Elders and wise women of ceremony, Glennie Kindred and Annie Keeling. I have been honoured with the support more recently by the phenomenal Lynne Franks and truly empowering coach Katie Curtin.
